The new Darsham Village Hall was officially opened on Saturday 3rd August 2019

“ The village fete and Hall opening went off extremely well and our thanks to all who attended, and all who worked so hard to provide tea and cakes at the fete, brought along and manned the stalls, provided the donkeys for all to pet and admire, and the villagers and friends who cooked and provided the BBQ in the evening for which over 130 people attended. The picture shows the ribbon removal to open the hall carried out by Helen Reeve with the Committee Members beside.
In respect of the results of the games carried out on the green. Marble game (children) won by Ruby 95 points (adult) Mr. Bolton 142 points, Ladder game won by Tim Evans 16 points, Shuffle board Richard 40 points, Treasure map (Castle Yard Bramfield) David.
Our thanks to Sunbury Homes for allowing us to use the hall and the green whilst we are awaiting exchange of contracts to take ownership
The money raised by the village is still to be confirmed but will run to approximately £1,829 and this will be split between the Village Hall and the Church.”
