About DASH Astro
DASH Astro is a relatively new astronomy society based under the dark skies of the north east Suffolk coast. We have been operating since 2013 and have built up a group of likeminded members, who cover various levels of competency, from absolute beginner to keen amateur, and who are all invested in the development of their astronomy knowledge and skills.
Our Observation Sessions
Our Observing sessions are normally held on a Sunday evening on the village green at Darsham Village Hall. In the event it is doubtful, but not certain of bad seeing conditions, we will be in the Village Hall for general Astro chat and to try to answer questions relating to scope set up problems. Why not join us and have a look at the night sky and learn whats going on in our galactic neighbourhood.
Our Meetings
We normally meet on a Sunday evening at Darsham Village Hall.
The Sunday evening meetings are selected to coincide with the Full Moon - when observing is not so good.
Guest Speaker evenings - members free, non-members £2.
Details for the full list of dates see the events page on our web site: www.dash-astro.co.uk
