Where We Are

 The new Village Hall

Darsham Village Hall is a spacious, light and airy hall located centrally within the village. The Hall was completed in October, 2019

DVH is a charitable institution, run as a non-profit making organisation by a voluntary management committee.  The committee is made up of representatives from each of the village organisations, plus three elected members and up to four co-opted members. The hall is a key focal point for the village and hosts a wide range of clubs and community events.

There are also regular courses every week including yoga, pilates, sequence dancing and Dash Astro.  Village run clubs include, table tennis, petanque and carpet bowls.

Carpet Bowls

A village fête takes place every year in August and there are monthly coffee mornings, often with a pop-up café for bacon rolls. Funds are raised through local events, including the 100 Club draw, which takes place every month.

Facilities

Floor Plan of Village Hall

The main hall is spacious (147m2) and can be divided to make two separate areas. It can seat up to 100 at tables, so is an ideal venue for parties and weddings.

Wedding Layout

The large, well equipped and modern kitchen has everything you would need to prepare food, including a double electric oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, hot water heater and microwave; plus crockery, cutlery and glasses for 100+.

It has a car park with parking for 25 vehicles, plus disabled and easy-access spaces. The hall opens out onto a patio and the village green.

Outside View of Village Hall

The hall has a performing arts licence; however, it does not currently have an alcohol licence - a pop-up licence can be applied for in order to sell alcohol.

DARSHAM VILLAGE HALL FILM CLUB

Darsham Village Hall now has a film club! We will show films on the second Saturday of each month throughout the winter months. Ticket price will be £5 payable on the door, we hope to have non- alcoholic drinks, nibbles and ice creams available for purchase on the night.

A good way to stay in touch with the Film Club is via the village WhatsApp group, you can join by texting Tracy on 07941 859981 or Bobby on 07973 221452 - we will also post information on the Village Hall website and on the village noticeboards.

We hope that the Film Club will become a place to meet up with friends, old and new!

Broadband and WiFi is now available.
