Darsham is now only served by one local bus routes.

The 196 Route was withdrawn in April 2016
The Bus stops at the railway station and the church or centre of the village depending on direction.

Darsham is also covered by the Suffolk Links Blyth service, covering Saxmundam and Leiston. Buses can be booked up to a week ahead and they will link to other bus and train routes.

Darsham is lucky to be served by a railway station in the village located on the A12. Trains run from Lowestoft to Ipswich at roughly one hour intervals. Connection to the main Norwich / London line can be made at Ipswich.
There is no ticket office at the station and fare payments can be made with a conductor on the train
Currently there is a small free car park, however this is soon to be made larger and a pay and display system introduced.

Several other local companies (to many to list here) operate from the Leiston, Saxmundam and Halesworth area and all pick up and drop off in the parish. Directory or internet searches will easily find these.
